To my delight, I was quickly whisked away by Cynthia Amas, her group of unique friends, clients and their desires for meeting that perfect someone, steamy encounters and some mystical intrigue. When I finished Sleeping with Dogs, I wasn't ready for it to end. I am keen for the second book. I must know what happens with Cynthia and Max, Cynthia's new business, Lolita and her dogs ... my weekend reading has deliriously picked up, thank you Julia Dumont!

I thought it was rather boring,no plot. Did not even finish it.
Had high hopes based on the number of stars, but it fell short. I found the characters incomplete and unlikeable and the situations too far fetched. It seemed like the start of a book rather than a complete story. I read it in a matter of hours.

This is a good quick read for a vacation. I had plenty of laughs. Kind of 'junk food' reading, but the story is quirky and fun to read, I really enjoyed it.
If you're looking for a quick, sexy, fun read - then this is your book. I read this in two days. There are a ton of typos and mistakes in the book, but take it for what it's worth.
I just love a book with a smart, energetic heroine who has a lusty love life, and this was recommended to me by a friend at school whose reading taste I don't really know...... But because it was only $6.99, I thought I'd give it a try. She was right....There are lots of great characters and steamy sex and plot lines but it's easy to follow. The chapters are short, which is helpful for me because I tend to only have time to read in short bits, but I did find myself saying, "Okay, I'm just going to read one more chapter" so time can get away from you. Anyway, the upshot is that I'm glad I bought it.
... and Julia Dumont delivered in spades! I found myself laughing out loud (especially the scene where Cynthia is running down the hotel hallway starkers), and having that reaction in a "romance" novel is not usual. The characters are well defined and easy to picture. The dialogue is snappy and droll. The situations are slapstick while being sexy. Yep ... it is a delightful read. I look forward to reading the next in this series.
